The technology is readily available.
The fuel we are almost just throwing away.
Now I don't know about you but my Power Bill is rediculous. It costs me almost the same for delivery of the power as it does for the power my house consumes. But could you imagine if your Power Bill was only 10 or 15% of its current useage cost? Delivery included?
How about if your Municipality could produce excess power to be sold at full price? Once the power you produced hit the grid, whoever used it paid what the going rate was. Could that be a nice little cash cow for your Municipality? Do you think that could stimulate Economic Growth? Leave more money in the Resident's pockets? Help pay for Municipal Services? Or even lower overall property taxes? The Province could even stick its fingers in and snag 5-10% of those extra revenues and add it to the Heritage Fund or Debt repayment.
How could you protect against Corporate/Government greed? What would it take to ensure the long term free or low cost electricity? What would it take to make sure the Municipality actually used it for the right purposes? What are those right purposes?
To drop my bill from $300 a month to $30 or $40 is almost "REAL Money". Can you imagine a Manufacturing Plant what they would be saving each month? Would that increase the number of Plants or Jobs in that Community? And that says nothing to the real boost in Municipal coffers, and thus the extra services they could maintain or offer.
Hello,
There is so much anger and so many different points of view somewhere we have to get an understanding.
I would like at this time to invite you on air to discuss why you support a specific Party or Leader. No name calling, just facts and how and why you decided and continue to support them.
In your message please identify who you support and the best time/day to contact you.
