Well, only if we want it.
Oil prices are around $50 a barrel. We have the Oil in vast reserves. There is a demand. Right now the drilling is down to next to nothing, the same with production. And the Feds and BC have the transportation down to a dull roar.
But what if we could transport/ship however much we wanted, without being hindered by another Government? Would that bring back investment in Alberta’s Oil Patch? How about if Albertan’s were able to invest and thus be rewarded for that investment? Is that also of interest? Especially if Alberta did not get into the Oil business?
Look, Alberta produces some of the most ethical, safety conscious, hghest environmentally safe production, and gives more to research for alternative fuel sources then any other Country in the World. It is a Natural Resource that does have its limits but not for the near future.
If you could turn the Oil production up in Alberta, what precautions or scenarios make sense to you, that Alberta would need to look at to ensure our future?
For consideration
– rebuilding our Heritage Fund to pay Alberta’s way in the future on interest alone.
- Zero Debt
Now you can look at this many ways, but this is just a conversation starter. If the Oil Patch kicked back wide open and it was just one piece of the future, what would you do with it?
It seems with elections coming both Federally and Provincially, some of this is critical to discuss and plan for.
HHGRadio.com is part of a small group of people looking into and trying to find the best answers for Albertan’s and we need you. Your input, your smarts and experience. Please, attempt to provide an answer or thoughts on what protections we must put in place to never be in THIS situation again.
Hello,
There is so much anger and so many different points of view somewhere we have to get an understanding.
I would like at this time to invite you on air to discuss why you support a specific Party or Leader. No name calling, just facts and how and why you decided and continue to support them.
In your message please identify who you support and the best time/day to contact you.
